So you're in southern Maine, its raining, you can't take the kids outside, what are you going to do?!?!?! You can put on a movie, or let your kids destroy the house and beat each other up..... or here are some ideas to get them out and get them active!!!!

Clay Play in Yarmouth is the perfect place for kids (and adults) to get creative on a rainy day. Paint  ceramic pottery with many choices of colors and glazes. Each piece is hand-glazed and fired in our own kilns. Choose from plates, bowls, mugs, platters, vases, tiles, banks, and many types of figurines.

Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine is amazing, and since its amazing everyone else might be there on a rainy day as well.... but its worth it.  From the firetruck to the ball room there are activities for kids of all ages.  The Camera Obscura exhibit that is running right now is very cool and kids absolutely love it.

Bayside Bowl is one of the best spots in Portland with beautiful lanes, amazing food, and just a general groovy layout.
